Major Contract Win to implement in-pit high speed communications network for Roy Hill

Progility plc (AIM: PGY), the project management services group, is pleased to announce that, in accordance with the Board's expectations, its Minerals & Energy Technologies division has today signed a contract with Roy Hill Holdings for the implementation of an in-pit high speed fixed and wireless communications network to support Roy Hill's fleet management systems, including dispatch, GPS tracking, drilling systems, and in-pit data access by survey and operations groups.

The value of this project to Progility is approximately AU$4M, most of which is expected to be invoiced in the current financial year.

The Roy Hill project involves the creation of a new open pit mine in the Pilbara region of Western Australia capable of producing 55 million tonnes per annum of iron ore over an expected lifetime of 20 years. Technology of this type provided by Progility is at the heart of the Roy Hill project, which will also involve building a 344km railway, an airport and a new marine port.

Wayne Bos, Executive Chairman and Interim CEO of Progility said:

"We are excited to be working on the Roy Hill project. The award of this contract marks a significant milestone in the development of our business, demonstrating our recently enhanced capabilities and the significant potential of our newly merged business. I believe that this contract marks only the beginning of our ability to leverage our investment in the minerals and energy technologies division."
